Visa requirements for bulgarians: Passports have to be valid minimum 6 months after the date of submitting visa applications. Entering or passing through the country may be refused to those whose passports contain valid or expired visas to Israel or entrance and exit stamps affixed by the Border Control of Israel. Visas are issued by a guaranty of a warrantor – local juridical or physical person who has right to submit applications for visa issuance. The warrantor needs a photocopy or scanned copy from the data page of the passport (picture of the person and passport validity). Tourists get their visas through guaranty of the tourist company that organizes the travel or the hotel in which they shall be accommodated. Usually a copy of the permission is sent by fax or e-mail and the visa itself is received while arriving at border control. Warrantors may be: 1. Hotels and tourist companies – submit documents for the following types of visas:
2. Airline companies – submit documents for transit visas of passengers (not more then 96 hours). 3. Organizations – submit documents for the following types of visas:
4. Physical persons (relatives and acquaintances) – submit documents for visit visas. Note: Airline companies require a photocopy of visa permission in order to let a passenger on the board of the airplane. Transit visa (provided by the airline company) is issued in case that the airport has to be leaved and border control has to be passed, provided that there is a ticket for next destination which is different from the place of arrival. A fine of 100.00 Dirhams for each day after the permitted term shall be imposed in case that the term of stay has expired. It is possible in some cases entrance in the UAE of female persons under the age of 30 to be denied, if they are not accompanied by relatives with the same family name.
